We only had about 10 people show up last night; not bad but I think the rain scared some of the folks off, although the course was pretty good. Chris won last night; I could tell he was going to after the first few laps he was just sitting on the other guy’s wheel just waiting. Jeff was fighting it out but could not get around his opponent and stay there. Troy was ridding trying to catch up with Jeff but never made it. The cyclecross guy was all over the place or so he said, so he was just out for a ride.  Then there was Ryan, who wanted to race the B group of course; he did hold consistent lap times though about 5:50 to 6:10 per lap, I told him that it did not matter which group he started with since there was only one other person in the B group.

We had another good turnout last night; about 35 race hungry fools came out for the 101 degree mayhem. This time we had them do a lemans start about 75 yrds; this helped spread the line out before the singletrack, we didn’t help them out much as we moved some the rider’s bikes while they were walking down to the start area, wow that was funny!!!!!! Chris almost ran right past his bike.

Chris won the a group with about 1min up on the competition. I will be running the crit next Thursday as Chris will be away at nationals laying it down up there with Mark; good luck guys!!!

We had a good turnout for the Crit; about 25 excited racers, 6 of those were in the B group. The temp was about 100, not sure about the humidity but it was there. We had a positive response from the whole group, and some good ideas that me and Chris will put into the upcoming races. The awards were awesome, WWF belts with short track A and B champions on them. The winners will have to defend them each week so hopefully this will keep everyone coming back for more.

I will post some pictures as soon as I get a site up and running so it will be easy for others to use and save if they chose to do so. Hopefully Mark will get back soon and be able to race with us at the Draper Crit, after all he was the one that started the whole thing.
